SIGNIS is the World Catholic Association for Communication. It promotes media in favour of a culture of peace, children’s rights, cultural diversity, interreligious dialogue and spirituality in more than 100 countries in the world.
SIGNIS was created in November 2001 from the merger between two organizations (Unda, for radio and television; and OCIC, for cinema and audiovisual) that were both created in 1928.
