Wish to know whether we could partake of the upcoming Global Catholic Radio Conference.
I am the directress of Bakhita Radio, the first station of the Sudan Catholic Radio Network. Other stations will emerge by the end of the year in the various dioceses of Southern Sudan.
Bakhita Radio, 91 Fm The Voice of the Church, went on air on December 24, 2006. It broacasts from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm daily.
Bakhita FM is established in Juba, capital of Southern Sudan.
I wish we could learn from the experience of other Catholic radios for us to be a more significant and profetic voice in the dauting situation of the Sudan.
Thanks and remain blessed

Sr. Cecilia
Thanks for the update. Congratulations on your new station!
Do you have a website for the station? I did a google search and could not find the station. Is there a way to listen online? I’m sure some visitors to the CatholicRadioReport.com site would be interested in listening. If so – we can add this to the link to our station list.
Also – if you or any of your team would like to contribute to CatholicRadioReport.com – I can gladly set you up with rights.
This could be press releases, program schedules, program notes, background or history of the stations and staff, stories of how Catholic Radio is impacting the Sudan. How did the station get started? Really we would welcome your posts about anything releated to Catholic Media. All Catholic stations seem to struggle to get started and survive – I would imagine this is even more so in the Sudan. I’m sure there is an interesting story there. Contact us at: domer2x [AT} yahoo.com
God Bless!
